Bearclaw Siika has a shallow, cross-grain curl that increase cross-grain stiffness and enhances the tone and sustain of the spruce. It pairs perfectly with this wonderful bear claw spruce top. This wood is most always in short supply, while the demand remains constant for custom luthiers for it’s look and sound. Very rare and expensive to acquire, Pale Moon Ebony is very dense resulting in a very focused tone with tight lows and clear highs.
